Green goodness

Chinese medicine is a legend by itself, the culture dating back to a five thousand years. Most discoveries were made in the Zhou dynasty including the foundational theories of yin and yang. During the peoples republic beginning of china there was a drift where people looked towards modern medicine. Chinese medicine regained popularity in 1950’s, since then it has only progressed with the opening of many research institutes in Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing and all over the globe.

(Green Tea) Lu Cha Use is a Traditional Chinese Medicine, its origin in china dates back to four thousand years. It’s a classic beverage with abundant medicinal properties. 

Green tea (leaves of  camellia sinensis, Theaceae) have neumourous health benefits some studied and scientifically proven, some still being studied. Its contribution in prevention and cure of human disease is massive. 

Epidemiological studies and clinical trials show that the consumption of green tea lowers the risk of cardiovascular diseases and chronic diseases.  
Green teas component EGCG is in the process of being understood and studied, so far the studies indicate that it is a potential element in cancer prevention.

Some animal studies also show that green tea treatments have had an effect in inhibiting tumors. Tea polyphones possess anti carcinogenic properties.   Metabolic syndromes have also been treated with the benefits of green tea combined with other medical treatment and exercise. Therefore it seems to have an effect in weight control. 

(Medical supervision is important for those on medication as green tea may interact with the medicine and inflame the condition)
