whey protein : all you need to know

Whey is the new way.
The importance of protein is known to all, its purpose of providing energy, to control various chemical reactions in the body, its contribution in regulation of metabolic activities. Enzymes are proteins and so are some hormones and antibodies. The significance of protein is utmost; therefore its absence follows various diseases and disorders, to name a few Marasmus and kwashiorkok

So guess what, whey protein is the ultimate source of protein, known to have the highest levels of protein in any natural food source. It’s formulated during the process of making cheese from cow’s milk.  It’s beneficial to all age groups from infants to senior citizens and comparatively easy to digest.
The protein powder is to be consumed moderately; it can be mixed with water, juices, soups but never a dairy product. It can be taken with low protein meals to maintain a balanced meal plan. Excess may cause constipation therefore be modest and see how it suits your body also eat good amounts of fibre.
The whey protein isolate is more expensive than the whey protein blends and concentrates as it is the purest form of whey protein, fat free, lactose free and carbohydrate free. Which makes it perfect for fat loss and body building, but as always there is a negative aspect, side effects may include headaches, crams, loss of appetite, allergic reactions and excess consumption may even lead to kidney and liver damage so always remember that moderation is key. Never depend only on protein, health is a complicated subject and a healthy diet is measured by the involvement of all nutrients macro and micro. Over consumption of any nutrient can cause toxicity, too much protein will lead to irreversible damage to the kidney and liver.

Whey protein has numerous benefits, its property as an antioxidant (GSH), boosts immunity, prevents iron depletion and anemia. Excellent source of calcium, magnesium and phosphate, positively affects the blood cholesterol levels and insulin sensitivity.
It is not only a protein supplement for muscle gain but also weight loss and fat loss. HIV positive people can use whey protein for weight gain, as it helps reduce diarrhea and improve T-cell count which is vital for good immunity, it further lends its support to bariatric patients who face problems such as incapability to consume recommended protein allowances. Research is on going on the use of whey for cancer patients. So not only does whey protein fight obesity but so many other disorders.

Always research your protein supplement and keep in mind its side effects, before making it a part of your diet consult a nutritionist or dietitian.

However just imagine if you added some great pictures or
video clips to give your posts more, "pop"! Your content is excellent but with pics and videos, this site could certainly be one of the greatest in its field.
